Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai This is the worse hotel i have ever been to.the pictures on the internet must bee from another hotel.no service, no english speaking workers. the food very bad. no refill on the food. bugs and ants walking around the food.swimmingpool closed.roof balcony closed.in town no retaurants. and all closed at 20.00. Very very bad. do not go up here. mabe ok for a day trip. |

Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai Room is differed from photos shown and also what I received.Food is worse ever as well as the restaurant staffs.I think local stalls food is better than them.Service is sucked and never bothered to attend to my complaint or request especially front office. |

Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai Deluxe room was clean and my bag was carried up for me. The pool area is in a horrible shape, with plants dead or dying. Water level was too low and the filter pump seemed to be turned off. Hotel is o.k for a visa run i guess... I didnt get my promised Myanmar view, instead i had a view onto an appartment building on the third floor. Nothing much to do in Mai Sai, but they have a karaoke and some shopping (market) every evening. |
Booking on Res24asia excellent as usual. Will use them again and again. |

Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai This hotel in Mae Sai seemed to have a lot of guests...However,strange enough\r\nduring our stay only 2 persons in the hotel understood english a little and none of them worked in the reception.(??????)The persons in the reception did not understand a word of english when f.ex. trying to deliver 2 Vouchers for 2 paid nights at the hotel.They also tried to charge us for 3 times more than was the correct sum of money when we checked out.The hotel is good ,but very used rooms,the owners must take out a lot of profit without given investments back in repairs etc.The breakfast is not the best.If there is a better choice of hotel next time I visit M.Sai, I will choose that. |

Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai I got the same same room that I stayed 10 months before. Some renovations is going on - so could hear the sounds always. Room service - good. Neatness - good. Bathroom & Toilet - Good. AC - good. All good. Thanks Wang Thong hotel. Will definitely stay if I come there again. |

Wang Thong Hotel Maesai, Chiang Rai This hotel is located near the border of Myanmar and very convenient to stay. But around here, if you want to take a meal, there are only outstanding restaurants. (actually some restaurant is exist but no customers in there) I think this is good situation for foreigner to enjoy Thai local life style. And further in Myanmar, at Tachleik, my first impression is dusty atmosphere. |
